Location
This new BBQ dining experience is located in Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If you want to get technical, the restaurant is in Andy’s Backyard, where you’ll feel as though you’re the size of Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang.
The Meal Experience
Even though this is not technically a character dining experience, you’ll still feel as though you’ve become one of Andy’s favorite toys. You’ll be surrounded by decorations that truly immerse you into the world of Toy Story; even the ceiling is decorated so don’t forget to look up while you enjoy your lunch or dinner!
This restaurant serves everything family-style, so you’ll be given a large plate of food for the table to share. As the name suggests, Rodeo Roundup BBQ offers a selection of delicious barbecue offerings. Both lunch and dinner cost $45 for adults and $25 for children ages 3-9. Alcoholic drinks are not included but can be ordered for an additional charge.
You’ll start off with a yummy bread service featuring The Prospector’s Homemade Cheddar Biscuits with Sweet Pepper Jelly.
After that, you'll get to taste a selection of three different salads! For your main entrée, you can choose either a meat platter or a vegetarian option. You’ll also be able to select four sides for the table to share. Some of the popular sides include Slinky Doooooooooog's Mac & Cheese and the Married Spuds.
To finish the meal, all guests can select one dessert (though we recommend you share so you can try a bite of everything!). Options include a chocolate silk pie, peach-strawberry pie, lemon and blueberry cheesecake, apple pie, and a chocolate cupcake.
Special Element: Andy’s Coming!
Even though this is not a character dining experience, it is still an interactive meal! As you eat, you’ll hear the sound of Andy’s toys throughout the restaurant. Listen carefully - if the toys and servers warn you that Andy’s coming, you’ll have to freeze along with the entire restaurant, just like Woody and his friends do in the films!
Typically you’ll only have to freeze for a matter of seconds, so you don’t have to worry about your food going cold in the process.
Additional Information
Roundup Rodeo BBQ is open daily from 10:45 am to 9:00 pm. Because it is one of Disney World’s newest restaurants, it can be hard to get a reservation. One of our planners can help you book your dining reservations if you would like help! If you can’t make a reservation, you can join the waitlist on the My Disney Experience app, though that will not guarantee that you’ll be able to enjoy a meal here.
Since it is located inside the Hollywood Studios theme park, you’ll need a theme park ticket to dine here as well.
